“…Costume Designer, Jessamine Moffett, has Kristen in English court dress, because she is no jester. In a show that demonstrates so beautifully the strength and hope of lineage, she can only be royalty.”
David Collins - Australian Pride Network
“When Ruby emerges from the darkness, her appearance makes a statement, one of pride and individuality… As Frank, she adds a striking, uniquely rendered black patchwork jacket…”
Alex First - I Tell You What I Think
The costume doesn’t feature rusty bolts and lightening rods, just the coarse stitches that are a signature of Dr Frankenstein’s monster – but this time they’re looping their way around Jessamine Moffett’s cheeky punk costume design, evoking the jagged seam between Ruby and Frank.”
Tamuz Ellazam - Star Observer
The costume design was on point and our protagonist embodied it with flare and ease. Leather, studs, British flags, tassels and fishnets comprised what was an era appropriate and fearless design that commanded presence.
Ash Cottrell - Theatre Matters
“Layered in safety pins and studs like a punk encrusted beetle…”
Tamuz Ellazam - Star Observer
